What most drivers do not realize is that a DUII arrest also initiates a civil proceeding by the Oregon Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) against your driving privileges called an Implied Consent Hearing.

If you are charged with DUII in Oregon, you have 10 days to request a hearing to challenge the suspension of your license. If you do not request the hearing within 10 days of your arrest, your license will automatically be suspended.
